WELCOME TO PHIL'S WEBSITE

Like so many of his friends, Phil started drag racing in the 1950s in Georgia.
Drag racing was just getting popular when he decided to try his luck at driving.
Since he was selling cars for an Atlanta Ford Dealer, he also thought it would
be fun while at the same time meet more prospective car buyers.

He was a winner and was picked as one of the original Ford Motor Company Drag Team
drivers in July 1962.  In August 1962, he received one of only 10 super lightweight 406
Ford Galaxies produced that year.
